Best Parking lot in austria

P	Pavel Radkovsky on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I understand the reason why P+R parking sites exist and when visiting Salzburg I was planning to use one. But later on I found quite convenient parking almost right in the city centre, at least near the place we wanted to visit (Haus der Natur). So if you have small kids and do not want to use the public transport with your little ones, be sure to check other parking options in Salzburg near your destination. There are quite a few of them and in our case (Contipark A) it was not so full as you would expect. It is also important to mention that if you have your parking ticket validated by the party or shop you are going to visit in Salzburg, your parking fee will not be expensive. We paid 5 EUR for 5 hour stay when we validated our parking ticket at the House of Nature.
M	Michael Elman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A convenient way to park your car and get to Salzburg's center using a bus. For 14 euros you get a public transportation day ticket for 5 persons. It takes 15-20 minutes to get to the city center.

Then you can catch the city bus (we took O-bus #3) to your final destination in Salzburg. FYI you can buy your bus ticket on board from the driver instead of lining up with the only one vending machine. Be Smart!

But if i were asked I would say, this is where FlixBus drops you off if you plan to visit the city (via Flix that is) so you have to buy tickets and get on a bus. The scenery on the way is pretty pleasant. But the parking lot itself not so much...

The guy at the entrance was super friendly. He explained us what to do, how it works and provided even a city map for us without even asking. Great service!
