Eigendiagnose: Leistenbruch rechts - Zusatzdiagnose Prof. Sporn: "und links"
Anruf bei Prof.Sporn am 9.3.2021, Schilderung meiner Beschwerden und was ich gerne hätte: Ordinations- und Operationstermin möglichst bald, Spitalsaufenthalt möglichst kurz, Wildwasser-Paddel-Tauglichkeit möglichst bald.
Ergebnis: Ordination 15.3., Spitalsaufnahme 22.3.um 13h zur OP-Vorbereitung mit Labor, Röntgen, EKG, Operation 23.3. 9h, Entlassung ab 16h. Perfekter gehts nicht.
Beeindruckend das Operationsergebnis. 2 Stunden nach Operation volle Mobilität ohne Bewegungseinschränkung und ohne nennenswerte Schmerzen. Ich bin offensichtlich einem Spitzenchirurg "in die Hände geraten" und noch dazu einem überaus sympathischen und freundlichen.

Self-diagnosis: inguinal hernia on the right - additional diagnosis Prof. Sporn: "and left"
Call Prof. Sporn on March 9th, 2021, describing my complaints and what I would like to have: appointment and surgery appointment as soon as possible, hospital stay as short as possible, white water paddling suitability as soon as possible.
Result: Ordination March 15th, hospital admission March 22nd at 1pm to prepare for surgery with laboratory, X-ray, EKG, operation March 23rd. 9 am, discharge from 4 pm. It couldn't be more perfect.
The result of the operation is impressive. Full mobility 2 hours after the operation without restriction of movement and without significant pain. Obviously I "got into the hands" of a top surgeon and a very personable and friendly one at that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich habe bereits einen Ärzte-Marathon hinter mir und bin froh, schlussendlich bei Dr. Sporn gelandet zu sein. Extrem positiv ist mir aufgefallen, dass er sich schon Wochen vor dem Termin mit meinen Unterlagen beschäftigt hat, was ansonsten erst währenddessen passiert und natürlich Zeit und Geld kostet.
So erfolgte zB das Schluckaktröntgen schon vor dem 1. Termin - also hatte ich "nur" den Ersttermin, die Gastroskopie, die OP und die Nachkontrolle, anstatt paar weitere Folgetermine.
Er nimmt sich auch während des Termins die nötige Zeit, ich hab mich stets ernst genommen gefühlt und er war immer für Rückfragen erreichbar (auch unkompliziert per Whatsapp, wenn man das möchte). Meinen OP-Termin haben wir an einem Samstag (!) für den darauffolgenden Dienstag fixiert, was definitiv nicht selbstverständlich ist.
Es ist sehr schwer, fachlich gute UND ehrliche, empathische, menschliche Ärzte zu finden - Dr. Sporn gehört ist einer von ihnen.
Ich kann ihn also uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
I have already completed a doctor's marathon and am happy to end up with Dr. Spur to have landed. It struck me as extremely positive that he had already dealt with my documents weeks before the appointment, which otherwise only happens during the appointment and of course costs time and money.
For example, the swallowing x-ray took place before the first appointment - so I "only" had the first appointment, the gastroscopy, the operation and the follow-up check-up instead of a few more follow-up appointments.
He also takes the necessary time during the appointment, I always felt that I was being taken seriously and he was always available for queries (also uncomplicated via WhatsApp, if you wanted to). We set my surgery appointment on a Saturday (!) For the following Tuesday, which is definitely not a given.
It is very difficult to find professionally good AND honest, empathic, human doctors - Dr. Spur Heard is one of them.
I can therefore recommend him unreservedly.

Ich erreichte Prof. Sporn per Handy an einem Samstag während seines Urlaubs. Trotzdem nahm er sich meines Problems geduldig an und erklärte mir die weitere Vorgehensweise. Am Freitag darauf saß ich bereits zu einer ausführlichen diagnostisch-therapeutischen Aussprache in seiner Ordination. Einen Tag später war ich bereits zur OP-Vorbereitung (Röntgen, EKG, Blutbild usw.) in der Klinik und noch am selben Abend operierte mich Prof. Sporn. Ich bin seit der OP schmerzfrei!!
Besonders auffallend: Prof. Sporn nimmt sich sehr viel Zeit für den Patienten, erklärt sehr genau, ausführlich und verständlich und ist immer für ev. Fragen per Telefon erreichbar.
Fazit: ein exzellenter, sehr erfahrener und sympathischer Chirurg. Danke

I reached Prof. Sporn by cell phone on a Saturday during his vacation. Nevertheless, he patiently took care of my problem and explained how to proceed. On the following Friday I was already sitting in his ordination for a detailed diagnostic-therapeutic discussion. One day later I was already in the clinic to prepare for surgery (X-ray, EKG, blood count, etc.) and Prof. Sporn operated on me that same evening. I have been pain-free since the operation !!
Particularly noticeable: Prof. Sporn takes a lot of time for the patient, explains very precisely, in detail and understandably and is always available by phone for any questions.
Conclusion: an excellent, very experienced and personable surgeon. thanks
