Und bitte nur bei trockenem Wetter laufen. One of the most beautiful hikes in the Kleinwalsertal. Only for absolute hikers and with flip flops or ballerinas that's nothing. And please only run in dry weather.

Der Weg bietet viele Bäche und tolle Blicke auf den Widderstein. Absolut zu empfehlen. Great view. We made the climb from Baad. It takes about 2.5 hours with breaks to reach the top. The path offers many streams and great views of the Widderstein. Highly recommended.

Geht man unterhalb, über die Lüchelalpe, ist es eine genussvolle Wanderung, mit tollen Ausblicken auf die Allgäuer Alpen, die man auch mit größeren Kindern machen kann. Wie der Name 'Scharte', im Gegensatz zu 'Joch' schon sagt, ist es ein Übergang, der etwas anspruchsvoll ist. Das letzte Stück hinauf und dann hinab ins Schwarzwassertal ist teilweise seilversichert. Allerdings ohne größere Probleme. Die Jause in der Schwarzwasserhütte ist dann wohl verdient (Kaiserschmarren!!!) Very nice tour from the WalmendingerHorn. Quite demanding ridge hike over the Ochsenhofer Köpfe. If you go below, over the Lüchelalpe, it is an enjoyable hike, with great views of the Allgäu Alps, which you can do with older children. As the name 'Scharte' suggests, as opposed to 'Joch', it is a transition that is somewhat demanding. The last stretch up and then down into the Schwarzwassertal is partially rope insured. But without any major problems. The snack in the Schwarzwasserhütte is well deserved (Kaiserschmarren !!!)
