★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very large OBI, conveniently located. It is important to mention that certain items are more expensive here than in other OBI shops in Vienna! These are items that are not available in the online shop (as those are the same price all around the country). Examples of more expensive items are certain construction items (cement, Putz, etc), plants, machines, etc. and many more. The difference in price to other OBI could be 10-15% more. Just so that it is not worth driving through the entire Vienna to grab the cheaper one and come back, if you live around here. Otherwise friendly staff, albeit not always very knowledgeable...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff, but sometimes hard to find. It's a huge place. So be prepared to walk a lot when you look for something.
I like those employees who have apparently worked formerly as professional craftsmen, lost their job and ended up here (or at Baumax, as the place was previously called). They are real experts, can give you hints and useful advice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OBI is in general a bit more expensive than Bauhaus, and you might have a problem buying from one store and returning to another, as they might belong to different entities under the same brand name. Some of the bigger stores, belonging to the main company, might have more options and variety. If you want to buy VAT free (eg intra-EU company) you might also face problems in the smaller franchised stores.
