This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay for a few days if you're looking for total comfort in quiet, relaxing surroundings. My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in July 2021. The owner is so kind and attentive and clearly prides herself on the standard of the accommodation. My first language is English and my wife's first language is Polish, neither of which the owner spoke and our German is not good. But she was adept at using the translation function on her smartphone to talk to us and understand our replies. Excellent. The house is situated about 1km from the road up a winding but well-surfaced driveway. We stayed in Room 2 on the top floor. All accommodation is on the top floor of this huge house. There is a fridge in the corridor outside the room and you have access to the balcony at the front of the house. The views are spectacular! A word of warning for those staying in Room 2. I'm not a giant at 186cm tall but the heavy glass lampshade in the centre of the room will get you before long if you're over 180cm. We wrapped a teatowel around it to remind me it was there (after I'd smacked my head twice in two hours!). Also, there is no kettle or coffee/tea-making facilities in Room 2 but we'd enquired beforehand, so we took our own. The room was massive. The beds wide and long enough for me and the ensuite shower room was well-appointed and really clean. All in all a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend.
