★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wer über den Wiener Höhenwanderweg von der Roaner Alm Richtung Wangernitzsee geht, kommt unweigerlich zur oberen Seescharte von wo aus sich ein erster Blick auf den Wangernitzsee werfen lässt. Von dort ist es dann noch ein kleiner, leichter Abstieg hinunter bis zum Wangernitzsee. Die Seecharte bildet auch die Bundeslandgrenze zwischen Kärnten und Tirol.
 If you walk along the Wiener Höhenwanderweg from the Roaner Alm in the direction of Wangernitzsee, you will inevitably come to the upper Seescharte, from where you can get a first glimpse of Lake Wangernitz. From there it is a small, easy descent down to Lake Wangernitz. The Seecharte also forms the state border between Carinthia and Tyrol.
