Dort saßen zwei Männer - einer verscheuchte mich arrogant von seinem Schreibtisch. Zurückhaltend stellte ich dennoch mein Anliegen, das mir mit gewollter Geringschätzung, gepaart an wertlosem Geschwätz, zum Verlassen dieses Geschäftes veranlasste.

Late yesterday afternoon I wanted to buy a thermostat for my Grohe shower faucet and entered the moderately lit shop towards the light. Two men sat there - one arrogantly shooed me off his desk. However, I cautiously raised my concerns, which, with deliberate disdain, coupled with worthless chatter, prompted me to leave this shop.
