C	Chris Ko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöner Gipfel mit toller Aussicht auf das Brandnertal. Als Startpunkte einer Mottakopf-Tour bietet sich zum Beispiel die Bushaltestelle Sonnenlagant an. Nach gut 900hm hat man den lohnenden Gipfel erklommen. Der Weg ist teilweise sehr steil, jedoch gut gepflegt und gehbar. Den gleichen Weg geht’s wieder retour. Leider gibt es keinen „gekennzeichneten“ alternativen Abstieg. (Gehzeit je nach Kondition ca. 2,5h - 3,5h) Wer es etwas anstrengender mag, kann die Tour auch in Brand starten. Beautiful summit with a great view of the Brandnertal. The Sonnenlagant bus stop, for example, is a starting point for a Mottakopf tour. After a good 900 m you have climbed the worthwhile summit. The path is sometimes very steep, but well cared for and walkable. It’s the same way back. Unfortunately there is no "marked" alternative descent. (Walking time approx. 2.5 - 3.5 hours depending on your fitness level) If you like it a little more strenuous, you can also start the tour on fire.

Die Tour ist nur pasagenweise steil, sonst eher flacher Anstieg, so dass man konditionell nicht überfordert wird, als normaler Wanderer. Es gibt keine bewirtschafteten Hütten auf der Strecke, daher genügend Essen und Getränke mitnehmen. Da der Wegzum Gipfel recht schmal ist, sollte man Schwindelfrei sein. Trittsicher ist aufgrund der teilweise felsigen Stellen wichtig. Der Ausblick übers Brandnertal ist fantastisch. Man sieht auch die Schesaplana. Unbedingt empfehlenswert undnichtvon den Höhenmetern abschrecken lassen. Man kann auch näher ran fahren und spart sich 200 Hm und 2-3 km. Hike from Brand are 14km and 1200Hm. The tour is only pasagenweise steep, otherwise rather flat rise, so that one is conditionally not overwhelmed, as a normal hiker. There are no managed cabins on the route, so take enough food and drinks. Since the way to the summit is quite narrow, one should be free from giddiness. Sure-footed is important because of the partially rocky places. The view over Brandnertal is fantastic. You can also see the Schesaplana. Absolutely recommendable and not be put off by the height meters. You can also drive closer and saves 200 Hm and 2-3 km.
E	E. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit harder to climb than is looks at first glance, but it's the perfect summit for the first day after arrival to welcome the area. Some passages can be a little tricky, but definitely worth it.
