M	Markus Amon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aufgabe f Kinder sehr schwierig. Für unseren 4jährigen hielt sich der Spaß daher in Grenzen. Uns Erwachsenen hat es gefallen. So machen 3* und 5* eben die Bewertung. Task f children very difficult. For our 4 year old, the fun was therefore limited. Us adults liked it. So make 3 * and 5 * just the rating.

Het is binnen 5 minuten te bereiken vanaf het bus- of treinstation. Het museum is op verschillende verdiepingen en in verschillende ruimtes ingericht. Een kamer met gereedschap uit de 19e/20e eeuw, een ruimte over de Eerste- en Tweede Wereldoorlog, een timmermanswerkplaats, opgezette dieren, een smederij, een klaslokaal enz. Bij ons bezoek was er iemand aan het werk op een weefgetouw om het oude ambacht te laten zien. Het geheel is wat rommelig opgezet. Er is veel tekst te lezen, maar voor kinderen is het minder interessant. The museum is located in the center, an easy landmark is the church in the village of Schruns. It can be reached in 5 minutes from the bus or train station. The museum is arranged on different floors and in different rooms. A room with tools from the 19th / 20th century, a room about the First and Second World War, a carpenter's workshop, stuffed animals, a blacksmith shop, a classroom etc. On our visit someone was working on a loom to show the old craft. The whole is set up a bit messy. There is a lot of text to read, but it is less interesting for children.

Mal im Montafon gewesen und wollten mehr über dessen Geschichte wissen und da waren wir im Heimatmuseum genau richtig. Danke auch für die netten Zusatzinfos :) Very interesting exhibitions / exhibits! It was our second time in the Montafon and we wanted to know more about its history and we were exactly right in the local museum. Thanks also for the nice additional information :)
