Het is alleen te voet (of op een mountainbike) te bereiken. Een klimtocht van ongeveer 40 minuten vanaf de barokkerk. Op bepaalde dagen en tijden wordt hier een rondleiding van ongeveer een half uur gegeven. In ons geval was dit helaas niet in 'hochdeutsch', zodat wij moeite hadden om alles te volgen. Zonder rondleiding is een bezoek aan de mijn niet mogelijk. (Contante) betaling kan wel op de berg voor aanvang van de rondleiding. De mijn is hier en daar laag, waardoor iedereen groter dan 1.60 m. zich bukkend door de gangen moet voortbewegen. Op één van mijn foto's is te zien dat een stalactiet in 20 jaar wel bijna 20 cm. kan groeien! S	Sven Kordass on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lohnt auf jeden Fall. Platzangst sollte man allerdings keine haben. Sehr netter Ort, der auch für ein Päuschen einlädt. Definitely worth it. You shouldn't have claustrophobia, however. Very nice place that also invites you to take a break.

Doch der Ausblick während der Wanderung allein ist es schon absolut wert. Oben erschöpft angekommen wurden wir erstmal ausgelacht, klar sind auch nicht die Wanderer (alles mit Humor). Bevor wir dann ein Einblick ins früherer Leben vom Bergbau ⚒ bekommen haben, gab es erstmal was kühles. Preis Leistung super fair. Die Führung mit gut 30 Minuten war super interessant, vor allem das Wissen was einen weiter geleitet wurde. Auch unseren kleinsten hat es mega gefallen. Sehr lohnenswert und Daumen hoch an die Betreiber So we dared to go up the path with our little kidis. Good slope is said beforehand. But the view during the hike alone is absolutely worth it. S	Stepy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein wirklich schöner Ort, um sich über die Geschichte des Bergbaus in dieser Region zu informieren. Zunächst fährt man am besten zur Barockkirche am Bartholomäberg. Direkt neben der Kirche kann man kostenlos parken. Es lohnt sich auch die Kirche selbst zu besuchen, da das innere der Kirche wirklich schön restauriert ist. Der Weg zum Bergwerk dauert circa 45 Minuten und ist in festen Wanderschuhen gut zu erreichen, da es ein paar Abkürzungen gibt, die durch den Wald oder unwegsames Gelände führen. Am Bergwerk angekommen kann man eine kleine Führung buchen und einen alten Stollen besichtigen. Da es innerhalb des Stollens teilweise sehr eng und vor allem flach verläuft, ist es von Vorteil, wenn man von geringerer Körpergröße ist. Wenn man sich allerdings gut bücken kann, sollte es auch für große Personen gehen. Man bekommt außerdem einen Helm und eine Jacke, so dass man während der Führung gut geschützt ist. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Ausflug und für alle, die sich in der Umgebung befinden, sollte sich ein Besuch lohnen. A really nice place to learn about the history of mining in this region.
