★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this place Googling around for bars in Salzburg. Really great location next to the river and walking path, with a great view of the castle on the hill. It was a nice day and we sat out on the patio - highly recommend on a nice day.
The beers were good and reasonably priced. We didn’t order any food or coffee but saw plenty of others doing so. A fair mix of locals and tourists.
Would absolutely go back on a nice day to enjoy a few drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was drawn in as I was walking by. Casual vibe place setup like a Cafe with lots of tables and gorgeous castle and river views.
It was pretty empty on a Monday afternoon which was perfect for me and I enjoyed staying a while with my book.
I especially loved the views and friendly, enthusiastic, bilingual (German, English + maybe more?) service. I overhead him mention he's been working there (and owning the place?) for around 10yrs, and from the great service I recieved it seems like he's still loving it.
Huge drink menu including coffee, tea, smoothies, beer, wine, cider, cocktails and all the hard alcohol. They also have free wifi and lots of bathrooms. No signs of food being available.
Minus a star because of the price. Tea was almost €5. Maybe it's standard pricing for Salzburg, but wow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location at the river but our welcome was as if we were disturbing the young lady working here. She was cutting fruit and when we entered signalled irritated that she was busy. When she was done we were served quickly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place where we had a break before moving on with our tour. Very well located with quite a view and not so loud despite the proximity with a large avenue. Adequate choice and price/quantity/quality ratio was ok.

Also now, when there is good weather, it is possible to sit outside to enjoy the fresh air. I felt comfortable and due to the distance to other guests safe. Also outside you need a vaccination certificate to be placed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A popular cafe on the bank of Salzach river. It is very popular among locals. The view from the bar is very beautiful. We intended to stay long but thanks to the incessant smoking from people all around the bar the place was became unbearable.
