Very nice oasis in the middle of the city heat. An idyllic place in the middle of the Arenbergpark. And there is also a real Viennese waiter with charm and charm! Recommended for a summer snack or a refreshment.

Whenever the weather is nice and I have time, I visit this café. It is so cozy and the cakes are delicious.

Man wird behandelt als würde man stören. Keine Spur Freundlichkeit.
You are treated as if you were upset. No trace of friendliness. It took forever until we could order and then we would not be served. Someone did not even come to the gag. Unfortunately, due to the beautiful and monopolistic situation, the owners probably have nothing to deliver except tables and armchairs. The food is also poor and overpriced. We were here for the first and last time with the current owners.

Schade
The place is nice. The staff too. The coffee ... maybe I was unlucky, but I do not remember when I got such a bad coffee somewhere. The To Go mug and its contents unfortunately landed in the next junk bucket. Too bad

That was summer 2020, the summer of the milk bar. A friend (in a wheelchair) made us aware of this small but fine restaurant on the edge of the Arenbergpark. Because it was so cozy there, we didn't stay on one visit, but spent the whole season there. There is a telephone booth library nearby (in the park). The location is ideal for "after work". We were very satisfied here and are already looking forward to the next and new season.

I love the dairy farm in Arenbergpark. I have been visiting them regularly since I was a child over 65 years ago. My favorite dish is chive bread and sour milk!

Nice place for a short break - next to these enormous air-defense towers.

Disgusting place with xenophobic staff, that even went that far to try to kick out a mother with a two year old baby. We live nearby, and take walks regularly in the park. We often were looking at the caffe, and that we should go for drinks sometime. Once the place shuts down, we also saw that the chairs are tied and left completely in the outside, and people sit there after the caffe is closed. My wife and I just came at the park after a full workday, to take our toddler for a walk. We were hoping for our drinks there, but a caffe was just closing down. So my son hopped on one of the tied up chairs, and my wife sat down next to him tired, just taking a break for few seconds, with myself standing next to them. Once the owner overheard we were not talking in German, he came out and started complaining loudly, that we should leave. Than the female bartender stormed out, and while making her way in another direction, continued shouting on our account in order to point the attention of other nearby people, aiming to humiliate my wife and my son publicly, for using their two chairs. We were completely startled by the intensity of their reaction for such a trivial thing. Especially as people do sit there after they are gone, and they are aware of this. But it doesn't bother them, as they did nothing in years to prevent it (no turned up chairs, no chairs taken inside etc.). Also I cannot imagine what damage can a two year old baby do by sitting on a chair for few minutes. So if you want to support someone, who is kicking out and tries to publicly humiliate a full time working exhausted mom and a 2 year old baby resting on a cheap plastic chair for few minutes after hearing they don't speak German, just go straight there. It certainly tells a lot about you.
