Delicious warm French food with changing menu, good for lunches when you are in a hurry as everything is prepared. Friendly service & possibility to sit outside during summer season.

Food was ok...a little on the pricey aide for what you get. Nice little bistro atmosphere...Great ice cream shop next door though. Although, not associated with Midi. :-)

Virtually none of the drinks advertised in the window were available, and the man at the counter had not even heard of the Kalê gespritz featured on the menu. The food was a little dry and cold, but not expensive. Perhaps they changed management?

The food is absolutely delicious and surprisingly varied day by day! A lunch place where the food looks and tastes truly French and isn't only playing pretend! Also I find the prices really cheap for the quality you get. Don't raise them, though! ?

Lovely French deli/cafe for lunch or earlier supper. Great food, paired with wine from the owner's vineyard. Protip: Cafe Gourmand is coffee accompanied by a few mini desserts! Perfect for a snack or after your meal.

*Edit* Since posting this review, I have had a very positive experience with the Midi owners and they have assured me that they have directly dealt with the incident described below. I learned that the Midi hosts a pop-up restaurant on the weekends, and the person running the pop-up was the one who acted inappropriately towards me, not an employee of the Midi itself. The Midi owners have confirmed that they will no longer be working with this person and that they will be holding a specific training with their employees to highlight this issue and prevent anything similar from happening again. I am very happy with how they responded and would be willing to support them in the future. *End edit* I went to eat at this restaurant when I was travelling alone in Vienna and the man working came on to me in a completely inappropriate and uncomfortable way. He began personable and friendly, but proceeded to touch and hold my hands inappropriately while I was eating. He also went to hug me and even kissed my neck, even after I had told him no thank you. He wanted to kiss me on the mouth and I had to push him away to stop him. It made me very uncomfortable and I could not find a good way out of the situation because he had seated me in the most inescapable place in the little restaurant. He kept asking me to go out with him that evening and would not take no for an answer. His English was very limited and unfortunately I do not speak German or French, but I do not think that would have improved the situation much: everyone understands the word no and I used it multiple times as well as physically pushing him off of me. The food was unremarkable.

For 5€, you can buy a hamburger at McDonald's. But there's much better, especially in winter: a Tunisian Lablebi at Midi.

Super disappointed. The portion was tiny. The salad was just the ordinary one from the shop like Billa or Spar. I got ONE cherry tomato in my salad. One piece of cherry tomato, are you serious, guys?! Also, they have self-service. And for that I paid 8,60 EUR. It was a cheaper price for lunch menu that consists of one dish. Price-quality is terrible even for a café in the 1st district. It was the first time when I was hungry after having lunch. It was my first and the last time in Midi. I definitely do not recommend it.
