Whenever I have felt the need to indulge in a Japanese culinary feast, nothing surpassed Memori. Trust me; I know what good Japanese food is having enjoyed it at some of the finest Japanese restaurants in Melbourne and other Asian countries. Recently though, I have found that some dishes are no longer as good as I remember them from the first time I visited especially given their prices. Most of the dishes has become rather average and alarmingly, the portion of the serve has decreased dramatically. Nonetheless, I hope the management reverts back to what made this Graz institution a lovely place to visit, spend and indulge but otherwise, the last time may indeed be my last visit. For the moment, I'd rather give it a miss until it improves again...

When they pour you a glass of wine it never is 1/8 of a l, always a little bit below the line. Ordered two G&T, at the second the bottle got empty and we only got like 2 cl instead of 4 and they still charged 2 times 4 cl. There are a few more examples like this.

L	Leona Woitsch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing! When we arrived we were wondering how good it is going to be because its next to a shopping mall outside of Graz. But it was just so good! The waiters are extremely friendly, attentive and professional. The mixed plate is quite expensive, so it might be better to choose some rolls and taste through them. The rainbow roll is truly amazing! Its pure creamy and delicousness! We also had the crispy roll and crunchy tuna which were both really good as well. I can definitely recommend going there!!!! It is just like its called premium traditional sushi.

I did never expect to get sushi at this class anywhere as I know from trips to Japan how real sushi should be and this is as close as you can get. You prolly need to go to Japan or one of the premium sushi places in New York or LA to be on that same level.

The sushi was very westernised, they put mayo everywhere even where it does not say so on the menu. The only good thing was the service, and that is the only reason I am giving it two stars. If you are looking for good sushi in Graz, you should stay away from this place, I should know since I’ve visited many good sushi restaurants elsewhere.

It's truly wonderful food, good quality, well presented and relatively fairly priced (the mixed platter is rather overpriced). The best part has to actually be the service. We have endured the worst customer service in Austria and the staff at MEMORI always make up for it. They're kind, attentive , flexible and very polite. They should train other restaurants on how to do customer service. I highly recommend this place and always look forward to going back. Update: we've eaten here a few more times recently and have noticed quite the decline in quality and portion sizes. For now, we've decided not to go back as it's not worth it to us anymore.
