J	Jeroen Boele on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De accommodatie is niet duur, heel ruim. Dat de woning enigszins verouderd is, is op zich geen probleem. De woning is voldoende schoon, maar niet superschoon. Diverse plaatsen vinden we stofophopingen en spinnenwebben. Wat wij wel als vervelend hebben ervaren is dat de eigenaresse die beneden woont stevig rookt. Via de centrale trap (is wel afgesloten middels deuren die op slot zijn, maar niet luchtdicht) komt de rooklucht naar boven en verspreid zich door het hele appartement. De handdoeken, matrassen, dekbedden en kussens roken ook naar deze rooklucht. Ramen openzetten hielp iets, maar zodra je in bed lag kwam de rooklucht uit het bed weer naar boven. Slaapkamerdeuren dichthouden, ramen open en regelmatig met de luchtverfrisser op de gang spuiten hielp iets. The accommodation is not expensive, very spacious. That the house is somewhat outdated is not a problem in itself. The house is sufficiently clean, but not super clean. Various places we find dust deposits and cobwebs. What we have experienced as annoying is that the owner who lives downstairs smokes heavily. Through the central staircase (is closed by doors that are locked, but not airtight) the smoke comes up and spreads throughout the apartment. The towels, mattresses, comforters and pillows also smell of this smoke smell. Opening windows helped, but as soon as you were in bed, the smoke from the bed came up again. Keeping bedroom doors closed, windows open and spraying regularly in the hall with the air freshener helped.
M	Maarten Fauvart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Accommodation is clean and very cheap but basic, and somewhat outdated: creaky floorboards, no Wi-Fi + poor mobile internet signal, no dishwasher, poor TV signal, no flatscreen. 4 bedrooms, each with double bed and wash basin. Ample parking space. Location is excellent for starting hiking trips though relatively noisy due to nearby main street and tunnel. Front view is beautiful, looking out over the Ludwigsburgerhütte and surrounding peaks. Bus stop is right outside the front door (free bus pass available), shops are 10-15 minutes by car. Good restaurant nearby (Gasthof Wiese, 1 minute by car). Fantastic host, Frau Melmer is the nicest person you can imagine. Extremely helpful, offers daily advice on the weather and suitable activities including hiking, culture and relaxing. Provides fresh bread delivered daily to your door. Recommended for families if you can do without luxuries.
