★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a sofa-boat from 10pm to 11pm on 26th of July (for two). When we arrived there at 9.45pm, they told us that we couldn't take the boat out because it rained during the afternoon (some hours before). As a result, we had to completely change our plans without being warned in advance. It was supposed to be a romantic surprise, but it turned out to be an awkward situation. They could have informed me or at least propose me a different day/time.
Location is good and boats are nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a slight hiccup trying to find our reservation, the lovely gentleman dressed in captain's uniform did his best to find us an island as he could clearly didn't want to disappoint us. We spent 2 heavenly hours with an overseas visitor on board showing her another side to Vienna. Thanks to Meine Insel for being helpful and supportive with our missing reservation; we'll be back next summer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't go after 8pm in September. It is way too dark. You'll see nothing...and the water is not lit up very well. We were on the sofa boat for €49( cash ONLY) and it seats four. The boat is VERY slow, be patient, Maybe take a snack, relax and take in the calm of the water and the cool air. Customer service is very good, they are quite friendly and helpful.
