We absolutely loved our 7-night stay at Max Brown! The front desk staff were lovely and very helpful, even with the unusual request of needing to find an eye doctor for a foreigner. The room was gorgeously designed, not to mention the main areas of the hotel - a great place to be if you love design, color and print. It was super quiet and comfortable in our room - although some nights I wished the AC would get a tiny bit colder (this summer has been hot). Our closet and bathroom went beyond my expectations. The linens and the toiletries were luxurious and there were fun touches like the record player and basketball hoop. One of the best things was the fresh croissants and fruit in the morning - especially the summer peaches and apricots! Wow. The vibes at the hotel were very cool, it matched the neighborhood around that is full of cool places for drinks, brunch etc. all with an eye to design. From here you’re very close to the main sights of Vienna too. Definitely recommend!

The coolest hotel in the town for a good price! We stayed there only for 1 night, but it was an enjoyment! Very friendly, smiling & helpful staff, who helped us with everything. I highly recommend this hotel and the next I go to Vienna, I'll definitely stay in this hotel again.

Never ever. Had to wait 10 minutes at the reception for somebody to show up. Very loud music does not allow you to understand what guys at reception would like to tell you. Rooms offered with breakfast means that you get a voucher for a bakery or a bar few hundred meters away. This has nothing to do with what I would expect from a hotel like this. Never ever.

Very cool city-hideaway in the heart of the 7th district. I was there for a weekend trip and enjoyed every second. Very cool and friendly staff. There were helpful on every matter. Unfortunately, we had no chance to have a dinner at Seven North since it was fully booked within my stay. I will come back definitely!

The BEST hotel in Vienna! My girlfriend and I could not have felt more welcome. The room was perfect and the staff went above and beyond to accomodate all needs. A special thank you to Christopher at reception. He made our holiday!

We were for a couple of days in this hotel and we were amazed, from the extremely comfortable beds to the extraordinary service of its crew. Christopher gave us a lot of local tips on what to do in town. The location of the hotel is perfect. In a very short walking distance from everything that is a must see. Now due to COVID they do not offer breakfast in the hotel but they work with multiple bakeries nearby and they give you a voucher at a very reasonable price (considering how expensive is Vienna) which I really find it is a really great idea for supporting local shops that are in the near from the hotel. It also helps you to start the day by already going out from the hotel, so you are taking a time advantage by starting your city tour soon.

Cute, stylish boutique hotel, very central in the 7th district. The adjacent hotel restaurant/bar is cute, delicious and worth a visit. Best thing about the stay… Christopher, the concierge. His tips were spot on and made our visit extra special. Clearly someone who loves his job and does it with joy. Thanks for the great stay and all your fabulous service!

Clean rooms, cool design but sadly it ends there. We chose this hotel as we wanted the personal experience of a smaller hotel chain. Sadly, while the design and some features are ‚cool‘, the staff are decidedly ‚too cool‘. No information provided at check in. You have to ask for everything - sometimes more than once. You want your room cleaned? You have to ask. You want a drink at the (empty) bar? They have to check with the manager if that’s ok. You want the welcome drink included in your booking? You have to ask. (‚Ah yes, that usually gets forgotten‘) And so on. Rooms missing some basics for a 4* - no coffee maker, no fridge. Record player a nice touch, but didn’t work. Breakfast is down right embarrassing. The waitress on the first two mornings was lovely and doing her best, but had far too much to do by herself. As seems to be the norm here, there was a manager strutting around with a laptop under his arm, doing everything apart from engaging with guests or helping the team. The same managers help themselves to espresso from a proper machine while guests have to serve themselves from an automated machine. Lots of items unavailable or run out. But then served to the table next to you… At peak checkout time, the receptionist was standing out front of the hotel on his phone smoking while other guests and ourselves were waiting. The arrogant behaviour of the managers has clearly trickled down through the team. To add insult to injury, they offer heavily discounted rates to those who have eaten in the restaurant. For similar design values but better service and better value, stick with the likes of Motel One.
