★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Markkirchl ist eine in 1983 m Höhe auf dem Salzachjoch, der Grenze zwischen Tirol und Salzburg, gelegene kleine Kapelle. Sie schmückt im Sommer wie im Winter den Übergang von Kelchsau kommend über die Neue Bamberger Hütte im Norden in das Salzachtal im Süden, wobei sich hier ein herrlicher Blick auf die Zillertaler Alpen mit Reichenspitze und Wildgerlosspitze, davor dem Wildgerloskees und darunter dem Durlassboden-Stausee öffnet.
 The Markkirchl is a small chapel located at 1983 m on the Salzachjoch, the border between Tyrol and Salzburg. In summer and winter, it adorns the transition from Kelchsau via the Neue Bamberger Hütte in the north to the Salzach Valley in the south, with a wonderful view of the Zillertal Alps with the Reichenspitze and Wildgerlosspitze, before that the Wildgerloskees and below that the Durlassboden reservoir .
