An und für sich hätte sich das Margarethenstein 4-5 Sterne verdient: Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut, insbesondere die Wildgerichte. Einfach inakzeptabel ist für uns aber, dass 3G-Nachweise nicht einmal angesehen, geschweige denn gescannt werden. „Ihr seid eh geimpft, ich glaubs euch“ wurden wir von der Kellnerin begrüßt.
Ich erwarte mir, dass gesetzliche Bestimmungen auch von der Gastronomie und Hotellerie endlich konsequent befolgt und zumindest stichprobenartig kontrolliert werden. Alles andere ist auch ein Schuss ins eigene Knie - strengere Maßnahmen oder sogar Lockdowns werden den Tourismus wieder hart treffen. Wieso also nicht einen Beitrag zur Sicherheit der Gäste leisten?

In and of itself the Margarethenstein would have deserved 4-5 stars: The food was really very good, especially the game dishes. However, it is simply unacceptable to us that 3G certificates are not even viewed, let alone scanned. "You are vaccinated anyway, I believe you" we were greeted by the waitress.
I expect that legal provisions will finally be followed consistently and at least randomly checked by the catering and hotel industry. Everything else is also a shot in the knee - stricter measures or even lockdowns will hit tourism hard again. So why not make a contribution to the safety of the guests?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very strange apartment planning - you walk to some bedrooms through other bedrooms. The owner was not able to fix the broken door during 1 week. Not enough utensils at the kitchen.
UPD based on the owner's response:
1) We did not receive any room plan although my friend who made the booking separately asked for that. We have received only a video which did not reflect the real setting.
2) The owner did not bother to inform us that we had "daily free Trauern Spa entrance".

The hosts are friendly.
Apartments are very comfortable and clean. private sauna is amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic apartment! 3 minute walk from the ski lift and in the centre of town. The apartment was very well appointed with dishes, utensils and bedding. The private sauna in the apartment made for a perfect apres-ski experience!
