But I have to say that we really regret going to this restaurant. First It took almost an hour to get the food. The place was quite busy and we where a big group so this is something that can happen and I could understand. The huge disappointment was the portion sizes, we order each a main dish and some starters and the amount of food that was served was really ridiculous. Everyone on the table was still really hungry afterwards, so much, that after leaving the place we went to another restaurant nearby to eat a proper meal. We all agree, the food was tasty but not really worth it, if you spend 20-25 Euros on a restaurant you should expect to be properly fed. Two small Falafels for 7-8 Euros in a place like Yppenplatz is more like a joke. We got told that there are quite a few really nice places around the area where the food is authentic and more worth your money. I recommend you to go there instead of going to Mani.

We ordered one of the vegetarian mains (the smoked aubergine) and the shakshuka with extra avocado. Both were amazing! You can sit outside right on yppenplatz so there is a lot of life going on around you. You can here the market people shouting prices etc. But it totally fits the flair of the restaurant. Can really recommend it!
G	Greta Scheichenost on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mani is one of my favourite restaurants in Vienna. The food is just amazing, the service brilliant and the whole atmosphare is lovely. I would totally recommand this charming place! Ps: try the warm almondpie with vanilla icecream - IT IS THE BEST!
