A gorgeous alpine pasture in a beautiful valley with delicious snacks and great service. Our bitch was very happy to play with Axel.

Hier aangekomen n heerlijke, rustgevende plek en genieten van de eigengemaakte producten. A beautiful walk, especially from the Tauernhaus to the Litzlhofalm. Arrived here in a wonderful, relaxing place and enjoy the home-made products.

I	Infinity on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So ziemlich die schönste Alm die ich kenne! Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten zur Hütte zu gelangen. Der eine geht vom Rauristal hinauf und der zweite, welcher für mich persönlich der schönere ist, führt vom Parkplatz "Hochtor" an der Glocknerstraße bergab an mehreren Bächen und Wasserfällen vorbei zur Litzelhofalm. Die Gehzeit beträgt je nach Kondition zwischen 1h und 2h. Also eine schöne gemütliche Wanderung. Was diese Alm aber noch so besonders macht ist die bewirtschaftete Hütte! Einerseits weil sie 140 Jahre alt ist und der Gastraum wirklich einen Blick wert ist! Und andererseits weil die Produkte alle Hausgemacht und von höchster Qualität sind! Käse kosten!!! Alles einfach wie im Paradies. Pretty much the most beautiful mountain pasture I know! There are two ways to get to the hut. One goes up from the Rauristal and the second, which for me personally is the nicer one, leads from the parking lot "Hochtor" on the Glocknerstraße downhill past several streams and waterfalls to the Litzelhofalm. The walking time is between 1h and 2h depending on your fitness level. So a nice leisurely hike. But what makes this Alm so special is the managed hut! On the one hand because it is 140 years old and the guest room is really worth a look! And on the other hand because the products are all homemade and of the highest quality! Taste cheese !!! Everything just like in paradise.
V	Vlassis Giouroukos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful mountain hut with great views to the surrounding mountains. From the parking lot at Seidwinkltal, it's a 3 hour walk. The first 2 hours it's along an unpaved road until you reach the Tauernhaus. After that it's roughly 1 hour following the very well marked path to Litzlhofalm.The mostly localy produced snacks (speck, cheese e.t.c) are very tasty. Prices are reasonable, people working there are friendly, polite and we had no problem communicating in English.

You can take a small bus from the last parking where you enter the national park, it will save you a 2 hour+ hike to Tauernhaus. The view from Litzelhofalm is great and you have the dealing it’s the end of the world. Friendly staff and locally prepared food.
