★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place with very friendly service. After driving up with my bike, I've been eating a wurstelsuppe and it was delicious. Due to the bad weather there were very few people. I will be certainly back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hut is popular with hikers and mountain bikers. There are a lot of trails around it and it is a good place to have a beer and eat some good food at decent prices.
The view is spectacular and I would recommend it as a easy day trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely lovely ambiance! It was a chilly day so they had the wood-burning stove running to keep the cabin warm. The waitress helped us with the menu as we only spoke English. The menu may be smaller than huts in the surrounding area, but the quality is outstanding. We had the cheese and bread tray, Knödelsuppe, two cakes and tea. Everything was perfect, and now I want to take everyone I know on a hike to this hut.
