A cross-country paradise with wonderfully groomed trails and beautiful and mostly away from the streets. A great discovery for us!

Nach dem Sport ein Snack vor Ort oder in der Gastro in der Nähe. Keine Ausrüstung? Die kann man sich bei Sport Auer/Ortseinfahrt ausleihen. Unfortunately not enough snow due to the weather. But cross-country skiing is an insider tip. After sport, a snack on site or in the nearby restaurant. No equipment? You can borrow them from Sport Auer / Ortaufnahme.
M	Martin Becker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Faistenau bietet topp gepflegte, weitläufige Loipen für Skater und klassischen Langlauf. Dafür werden 6 € verlangt, was absolut in Ordnung geht. Am liebsten fahren wir die Tiefbrunnau Loipe, weil diese entlang des Tales führt, recht lang ist (20 km) und damit nicht so frequentiert wird. Es empfiehlt sich nicht zu spät zu starten, weil die Sonne im Winter schon am frühen Nachmittag hinter den Bergen verschwindet. Faistenau offers well-groomed, extensive trails for skaters and classic cross-country skiing. For this, 6 € are required, which is absolutely fine. We prefer to ride the Tiefbrunnau trail because it runs along the valley, is quite long (20 km) and is therefore not as frequented. It is advisable not to start too late because in winter the sun disappears behind the mountains in the early afternoon.

Außerdem werden Umkleiden und Toiletten in der Schule bereitgestellt. Der Parkplatz ist fast immer ausreichend. Die Erhöhung der Saisonkarte war allerdings mit rund 30 % auf 50 Euro überdurchschnittlich und "Langlaufstadion" in Google ist eher unpassend☹ One of my favorite places in the state of Salzburg is Faistenau and that is also due to the opportunities to fully experience cross-country skiing near the city of Salzburg. Changing rooms and toilets are also provided in the school. The parking lot is almost always sufficient. However, the increase in the season ticket was above average at around 30% to EUR 50 and "Langlaufstadion" in Google is rather inappropriate☹
J	Johann Gittmaier on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schöne Langlauf Loipe. Wetter war herrlich. Insbesondere um Hintersee ist die Loipe sehr schön gespurt. Very nice cross-country ski trail. weather was lovely. Especially around Hintersee, the trail is very nicely groomed.

Die seit heuer neue Loipenführung, gefällt mir außerordentlich gut. As always, excellently groomed tracks, well-marked trails and moderate prices for the use of this wonderful sports and leisure facility. I really like the new cross-country skiing trail this year.
