★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location: Oberlaa patisserie is part of a pastry shop chain. This store is located between the central area of Landstraße and the Stadtpark. It’s really easy to reach (several busses, trains, trams, metro, ...).
The furnitures remind of the old viennese coffeehouse style, with some modern taste though.
Food and drink: pastries are extremely tasty.
Prices a bit higher compared to the average costs...
Service: efficient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No matter the location, Oberlaa offers the same high quality, extremely delicous products everywhere. Their limited edition Christmas pralines are absolutely to die for. You can never go wrong shopping with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cakes were underwhelming. Coffee is average chain quality. Had to flag staff down to order/pay, whereas staff were extremely attentive to some locals next to us - sat down way after us but ordered before us.
We went out of our way to visit this place for their cakes, definitely not worth it. Overall a disappointing experience.
Mango chocolate cake (€4.20) - texture was a bit mushy
Apple strudel (€4.00) - doughy and flavours not good
Small pink cake (€2.40) - overly sweet
Cappuccino (€4.50)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cakes and coffee...this is a famous chain of cake shops and there cakes are rather good. Prices are a bit higher but not especially expensive. Atmosphere is typicall Viennese style coffee house...people having coffee and cakes, talking, reading newspaper, etc. We had cakes and they were delicious! It was a bit crowded so we had to wait for our waiter a bit, but it was Sunday afternoon, so I guess it was a rush hour time. Try their cakes if you are nearby.

Rude staff, and make fun to us because we were not speaking german!
Menu not in English!
