You will get your money's worth here in every respect: the view of the country is fantastic, Dürnstein is just as picturesque at your feet as Rossatz on the opposite bank of the Danube, and if you take a few steps forward to the viewing pulpit, you will even see the Göttweig Abbey emblazoned on the mountain.
The Kuhberg is sometimes grazed by sheep so that the magical meadow is preserved. The real paradise for botanists.
On the Kuhberg there is also the small property where Max Suppantschitsch, a master of painting, lived and worked 100 years ago.
