Компар е един малко странен връх, който не прилича на другите. Първо, лишен е от традиционното за алпийските върхове украшение - кръста, та чак някой се е съжалил и е импровизирал самоделно кръстче от клонки. Второ - за разлика от повечето върхове в Карвендел, може да се достигне без някакви технически трудности, катерене, остри ръбове и т.н. Панорамата към Карвендел е на всички посоки чудесна, а и самото изкачване от осми паркинг и кошарите Хазентал е много приятно, обзорно, постепенно и по пътека, а не по каменист път. Затова и като цел преполъчвам на всеки, с възможност за връщане през хижата Плумсйох и освежаване в реката, ако ви напече слънце - водата си остава дори и в разгара на лятото ледена.
