Kolpinghaus Graz, Schüler- und Studentenheim

Wenn man zum Studieren nach Graz kommt und einen Schlafplatz braucht, ist das Kolpinghaus Graz genau das Richtige. Hier hat man nicht nur ein Zimmer, sondern unter anderem ein „zweites“ Zuhause. Ich wohne seit kurzem im Kolpinghaus und fühle mich sehr wohl. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es finden immer wieder Veranstaltungen wie Spiele- und Filmabende statt. Trotz diesen Veranstaltungen ist es immer ruhig im Haus. Wenn man mit mehreren gemeinsam lernen möchte, dann kann man auch in den Sitzungssaal gehen, dort hat man seine Ruhe. Wer es sportlicher mag, für den gibt es auch einen Turnsaal, eine Kraftkammer und einen Fitnessraum zur freien Benützung. Unter der Woche gibt es täglich drei Mahlzeiten im Speisesaal, bei denen man sich mit den anderen Bewohnern austauschen kann und Konversationen führt. Falls man Allergien oder Unverträglichkeiten hat, muss man sich nicht fürchten diese in der Küche bekannt zu geben. Die Zimmer werden wöchentlich gereinigt. Falls man mal etwas Action haben will, sollte man Graz unsicher machen. ;) Im Kolpinghaus ist für jeden etwas dabei.

Il kolping è una struttura fantastica! Sei piani di stanze di tutti i tipi: standard, confort e studio room. Io ho alloggiato qui per un mese e vi posso garantire che mi sono trovato benissimo. Struttura pulita, cibo (colazione, pranzo e cena) buono e tanti ambienti utilizzabili come cucina, palestra, sala ping-pong, parcheggio bici, ecc… Lo consiglio per studenti, lavoratori e per chi deve rimanere per un tempo medio-lungo a Graz! Lo staff è gentilissimo e molto disponibile a soddisfare tutte le tue esigenze. Vi allego alcune foto della mia stanza :-) 5 STELLE

Nikome ne bih preporučio da ovdje dođe i da se zarobi bez obzira koliko ostao. Kuhari su katastrofa, od hrane naprave krš i smeće, osoblje totalno neljubazno, bezobrazno i arogantno osim Alexandre, dvokrevetna soba je premala za dvoje i sve se čuje kroz zidove. Doživio sam niz neugodnosti od osoblja kao i brojni cimeri koji su tu. Treba pohvaliti čistačice jer je higijena i čistoća na nivou. Lokacija je također super. Ne preporučujem... I would not recommend to anyone to come here and be like in a jail, no matter how long it remained. Chefs are a catastrophe, from the foods of curds and garbage, the staff is totally unkind, rude and arrogant except Alexandra, the double room is too small for two and everything is heard through the walls. I've experienced a number of inconveniences from the staff as well as the numerous roommates that are here. Cleaners should be praised because hygiene and cleanliness are on the level. The location is also great. I do not recommend ...

Really good student dormitory. Close to the downtown and to buses and trams stops. People which work here are friendly and helpful. Canteen is quite good. Recommended.

Honestly if you are a parent that wishes to find a dormitory for his kid (max 17 years) then is this dormitory an really ok choice for you. Just because its in the city center and there is food most of the time. On the other hand its not recomended to go there if you are a student because there are really a ton of regulations concerning the kids, that also affect you. For an example no one can come and sleep in dorm because, I think they made this rule up. You can drink a beer in front of the dorm, but there is a Bar inside the dorm where you can (??) There are 2 kitchens. Kitchen number 1 or the main kitchen is the one that provides food for people living in the dorm. 5 days a week + saturday (only breakfast and lunch). And a kitchen number 2-used by everyone that wantd to cook his or hers own food. The kitchen number 2 is available for all of the people living there (ca. 150-200). Also that one kitchen isnt working properly. The owen in broken for already 2 years and only half of it is good to use(only one heating panell works). Also the cooking area has only 3 out of 4 functioning cooking rings. Kitchen number 1 is usually working, except when there is a chance to make some crazy combo of fridays and thursdays with some hollyday that takes place on Monday. Having that in mind think about handling the half working kitchen with other 200 peoole. There are 2(!) Wash machines, so you have to wait most of the time to get your turn yo wash your clothes. The persons who are in charge of handling the kids are really polite, multi-lingual and always ready to help with everything they can help. On the other hand there is a man working in the office that really refuses to speak any other language than german, eventhough he speaks english (really good). And last but not least there is always a mild feel of nationalism. Overall, the second star I've given is just because the location is the best in the whole city of Graz P.S. you get 50GB internet package. Monthly. 50. GB

Great student dormitory. Close to the centre and not so much expensive. Tram stop is very near. People which work here are very friendly and helpful. Food is good enough and anyway you have not to cook everyday (for the students is the best). Reccomended :)

Lived here for 7 months and had a fantastic time. It was so nice to have the the cleaning service and cafeteria saved a lot of time for me. Great location within Graz and the staff especially Thomas made it really feel like home away from home.
