★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bahnhof in Burgenland. Er liegt direkt an der Grenze, wenn man die Station verlässt, kann man entweder in den Ort Kittsee gehen oder man biegt nach links ab und ist sofort in der Slowakei. Zugverbindungen gibt es hauptsächlich nach Wien und Bratislava, seltener sogar über Sopron bis nach Deutschkreutz. Zwei Bahnsteige vorhanden, jedoch wird im Normalfall nur noch ein Bahnsteig benutzt. Ausstattung g gut, es gibt sogar einen Warteraum und die Fahrdienstleitung befindet sich vor Ort. Ausreichend Sitzplätze. Umsteigemöglichkeit zu Bussen. Aus dem Ausland ankommende Züge werden hier manchmal vom Militär kontrolliert. Insgesamt eine recht gute Grenzstation.
Railway station in Burgenland. It is right on the border, if you leave the station, you can either go to the place Kittsee or you turn left and is immediately in Slovakia. Train connections are mainly to Vienna and Bratislava, more rarely even via Sopron to Deutschkreutz. Two platforms available, but normally only one platform is used. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Einen überdachten Warteraum inkl. Toiletten gibt es nur in Richtung Wien. Kein sicherer Übergang für Reisende in Richtung Bratislava. Früher wurden hier öfters Fahrräder gestohlen. Seit dem gibt es eine Video-Überwachung. Freie Parkplätze sind oft in der früh Mangelware.
A covered waiting room including toilets is only in the direction of Vienna. No safe transition for travelers towards Bratislava. In the past, bicycles were often stolen here. Since then there has been video surveillance. Free parking spaces are often in short supply.
