★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were greeted by a drunk man, which wanted to sit on our table to smoke. We friendly asked not to, since we are non smoker and all other tables were free. The man was known by the waitress - either it was a well known guest or a waiter himself. Nobod, cared about him talking to us or (later) other guests.
The food, a garlic soup and a mixed grill platter, was boring, the meat grilled way too long, accompanied by plain steamed vegetables and some unsalted fried. A quite small portion, compared to many other restaurants in this area. The soup was really the most boring garlic soup we ever had, almost no taste of garlic. The waitress was friendly though and you have a great view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always pleasant to visit here. Good prices, good food, good service. Slightly off the beaten track, and never any problem to find a table. A big plus is that they have no extended holiday closures. Try the Apfelstrudel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is only for the restaurant, as we were there for lunch. The restaurant is very nice, clean and cosy. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. We had soup, schnitzel and salad. All of them were very tasteful and fresh, unlike many restaurants in the area which are selling fast food. So, we are highly recommending it.

Breakfast had the usual variety of foods and good.
We had dinner at the hotel, very good and came back again a second time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our holiday in Kirchenwirt. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff service was very profesional and friendly. Food taste very good, also our gourmand daughter was very satisfied. The place is very quiet, free parking near the acommodation. Ski bus gets you to the ski resort and back too. This place we can recommend to your stay.
