★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found it on Booking portal, reserved apartma for 2 people and it was amazing - completely new, clean, and really really nice, people were really nice and nature around Maurach and Achensee is amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful, clean site within easy walking distance from town with shops bars and resturants. Also the lovely lake you can swim in. A steam train operates close by. Stunning views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This campground was great, beautiful and quiet. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was yummy (two vegetarian options... but still more than most!), And the location was fantastic with walking distance to the lake, hiking trails, climbing routes, and the village/grocery. Additionally there's bus station right in front of the campground. The bathrooms were very nice and the showers are newly renovated. My only suggestion is when the campground is at full capacity, the toilets could use one more cleaning per day. Trotzdem, thanks for a great stay!!!
