Scrabby patch of gravel right next to the railway line. Overpriced & unfriendly. Owners couldn't wait to take their 30 euros & disappeared. No care taken on the site at all - a dumping ground for old vans! One to be avoided....

We reserved a month before arrivale. On arrivale however, we needed to call to check in. When someone awnsered the phone all we got in response was that is was 30 euro a night and if we would like to stay for one night. We got no awnser on the question if we could check in. After waiting 10 min for someone to come, we called again. We were again told the same things that we already knew... Not wanting to wait infront of a closed door, for god knows how long, we looked for a other place.

Camping site is in town but this did not bother us. Payment in advance (a rarely used rule, obviously the owner faced guests that left the camping site without paying, no passport or photo ID is requested). What bothered us the most are the many warning signs, (and written in bad English) as if we are on a scouting camp, creating an unfriendly ambiance. Shower usage set you back 1 Euro, but when you use a water bag to fill in water from the sink (and an elastic rope or tape to lock the tap) you can have a great warm shower for free. WiFi is absent at the back pitches. Five minutes walk to the train station for a day trip to Innsbrück. Free usage of fridges.

Nice quiet campsite which is a 10 minute walk to the ski lifts, directly by the Zillertal train line, a wide, flat, cycle path, and the river. I can't wait to go back on holiday again! The toilet block is kept very clean, and there is a common room, a room for drying your ski/snowboard gear, and lots of flyers and maps are left out free to find out about local events. I highly recommend staying here. My only niggle is that you have to pay for showers.

Ideally located beside the cycleway and level ground, but that is where the positive aspects end. It is expensive, there is a passcode for everything. 3 minutes (including a minute of cold water) shower is 1 euro, and running nothing but a fridge on electricity cost us another 8.60 euros for 2 nights!! Unfriendly staff who take your money and disappear....when we questioned why our electricity was so expensive was told ‘Just give us a bad review, we don’t care, we are always full and have lots of customers!’ - the ultimate in arrogance! Very close to noisy road and railway. Would not return here.

No shade, very expensive (31€ for a spot of stony grass, one could rent a house for that money), for showers and electricity you have to pay extra. It is noisy. Wifi is slow.
