★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had booked at the Glocknerhaus, but were astonished to find ourselves in front of a shut door. Toni and Cäcilia, of the Karl Volkert Haus, took us in and took care of us. One might find the hotel a bit old fashioned, but the good thing is that their hospitality is just as old fashioned - and that is a very positive thing, not found everyday, anymore. Their smile is sincere, their interest genuine. I'm happy we've spent our money on their hotel, rather than on anyone else's. If we go back, we go back to Toni and Cäcilia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We only had a dinner there. The food quality: Good. The Service - terrible. They treated customers as intruders, and looked very strange when we asked any clarification questions. Additionally charged for "setting up the table" per person. Popular in italy, but first time I have seen this in Austria

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not bother with this place. Staff are rude to guests wanting to come in for an evening meal. Toilets are only for the guests staying at the place. Appalling and rude attitude. Do not judge a book by its cover. We are all human beings at the end of the day!
