Kardio Döbling Dr. İlyas Kozanli - Heiligenstädter Str. 141

Ein wirklich sympathischer Arzt, der sich wirklich Zeit für einen nimmt. Ich hatte seit Wochen starke Herzschmerzen und mir wurde aufgrund der Stärke der Schmerzen noch am selben Tag ein Termin gegeben! Das gesamte Personal war top, die Praxis wunderschön und der Herr Doktor nur zum Weiterempfehlen! Mein Termin wurde eingeschoben und trotzdem hat man sich ausgiebig Zeit für mich genommen. Hier fühle ich mich nicht nur kompetent untersucht sondern auch gut aufgehoben.

Went with my wife, because she had every ~2 months a tachycardia, especially after cycling slowly for 1-2 hours, snowboarding, doing mild cleaning at home. Tachycardia lasted for 2 to 9 minutes. It all started 10 years ago, but recently got worse. I've managed to film her HRM on the smartphone, while running down slowly at 130 bpm. Doctor didn't watch my recording to the end, was not interested and said that HRM may have been faulty (yeah, right, she FEELS the tachycardia, pulse is jumping to 220-230 bpm and then slows down to 170 and after couple of minutes can drop back to 110 in 4 seconds!!). Then he put her on the cycling machine for 5 minutes (even though I've said that it usually can be triggered after 1 hour + jumping/falling/etc.). I've told that to his assistant and he just shrugged, saying that cycling machine will show everything. Ok, fine, let's finish the test. After 5 minutes doctor came, said everything is "OK", in case it happens again, she should "cough", put some ice water on her face (in the middle of the forest, right). We told that it can happen while jumping, can we try that? No. Shaked hands and let us out. That's just not right. What if she swims in the ocean at that time? What if we climb a mountain? What if it never stops? What's the cause? And in 2 month after his visit, surely, she has another tachycardia for 45+ minutes (which she can't stop this time with all the methods), calls ambulance, they inject some medicine (Adenozyne?) which immediately stops it. Doctors managed to take the EKG and with it we went to another doctor. Diagnosis by Ambulance: it's probably AVNRT/AVRT and she was born with it. Diagnosis of another 2 private doctors: Ablation Operation is needed. We'll have it this week. 99% chance that it will be successful. Otherwise incidents may be longer and no medicine can help it. Update #1: did 1st surgery in July, didn't fully kill the nerves because new "junctional" tachy appeared in the end of surgery. Doctors said it very rare that first fails, had to do the second one. Did second one in November, now almost burned the tissue down to the CS node, but not too close to it, to avoid the need of pacemaker. Tested, no AVNRT or junctional tachy anymore. Feeling good so far. So... Update #2 (November 2018): One year has passed. No Tachycardia since operation. Update #3 (February 2020): thanks for reply, ordialnation, I hope you will really change the attitude towards clients and be more attentive to the patients. As you see, it could have ended badly for my wife. Regarding her wellbeing: AVNRT is still not reproducible after ablations, she feels greater than ever. -- I can highly banish this doctor. I don't know why he has such high reviews. But he was incompetent, careless, didn't trust or listen to the facts. Didn't try to follow up with some surveillance monitor. Didn't say which type of tachycardia it is. Stay away from him.

Dr Kozanli is a very good specialist doctor. He is listening his patients very carefully, doing all necessary checks and follow-ups. I am very happy after applying his advises and treatment programme.

Extremely unattrntive to patien’s history or story, completely dismissive with an unpleseant tone, would not recommend

After being hospitalized for few days due to a mild heart attack, l chose this doctor to monitor my condition. Reason why l chose him was mostly based on his good ratings, which it turned out don’t really go with his services. I visited his clinic 3 times. During these 3 visits l only seen him 2 times, approximately 1 minute per visit. It appears his goal is to get as many patients as possible throughout the day, quality service is their second priority. Very unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Kozanli. No amount of words can express my gratitude and how thankful I am for the care and treatment he has given to my husband. Since Dr. Kozanli is his doctor his health improved considerably and feels so much better now. Dr. Kozanli is an expert in the field, very kind, very empathic, who cares and lists to the patient, takes all the time to explain whatever is necessary. And because of his excellent expertise, he brings a patient into good health by performing all medical investigations to establish the cause of the symptoms and prescribes the best treatment for that. Dr. Kozanli's excellent expertise as a Doctor and, more fundamentally, as a person, shines through. In plus to that, all staff are very nice, helpful, friendly and speak English. In the practice everything is very modern, very nicely organized, and very clean.
