Oder vom Umkehrplatz über die Forststraße ,vorbei am Gedenkstein. Eine besondere Wanderung ,von 425 bis 670 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel , bei beeindruckender wunderschöner Umgebung mit herrlicher Aussicht. Auch für Kinder geeignet, da bestens abgesichert. Mit ein bisschen Glück kann man Gämsen sehen......... An Wochenenden leider zu wenig Parkmöglichkeiten. Besser früh anreisen. Auch mit dem Schiff ist eine Anfahrt via Hoisn empfehlenswert. . Directly from the Traunsee leads the most beautiful way through the forest towards Hernlersteig. Or from the Hoisenwirt. Or from the reversal point on the forest road, past the memorial stone. A special hike, from 425 to 670 meters above sea level, at impressive beautiful Environment with great views. Also suitable for children, as well secured. With a little luck you can see chamois ......... On weekends unfortunately too little parking. Arrive early. Also by boat, a journey via Hoisn is recommended. ,
W	Walter Triebenbacher on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super Wanderung, oben abgekommen wird man mit einer tollen Aussicht auf den traunsee belohnt. Ideal wenn man nicht soviel Zeit aufwenden will/kann. Leichte Wanderung, trittsicher sollte man aber sein. Ideal ist der Ausgangspunkt vom Gasthaus Hois'n. Gehzeit bergauf normales Tempo ca. 1 Std. Super hike, the top is rewarded with a great view of the Traunsee rewarded. Ideal if you do not want to spend so much time / can. Easy hike, sure-footed but you should be. Ideal is the starting point of the Gasthaus Hois'n. Walking time uphill normal pace approx. 1 hr.

Eine wundervolle Aussicht und auch für Kinder machbar zu wandern, aber immer unter Aufsicht, da es manchmal auf den Seiten steil runter geht. A really great hike, not too long and pleasant to walk. A wonderful view and also doable for children to hike, but always under supervision as it sometimes goes down steeply on the sides.

Direkt vom Traunsee durch den Wald Richtung Hernlersteig, dann Richtung Hoisnwirt. Am liebsten unter der Woche, aber Vorsicht bei Nässe! Short hike at the foot of the Traunstein, partly with rocky terrain, also with a dog. Directly from the Traunsee through the forest towards Hernlersteig, then towards Hoisnwirt. Preferably during the week, but be careful when it is wet!

Not too exhausting, but would still recommend proper hiking gear, It is occasionally a little exposed and can get slippery at times, especially in fall when leaves cover the trail. Took us round about two hours with a few photo stops and lunch break.
