★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing. As of today (19 july 2018), google has not updated with new map. Where you see all cars, there is big constructed parking which is free of cost. This parking is such a relief else in high season, you will not get parking. Once you come out of parking, you have direct view of Grossglockner mountain. There are several information boards about mountain history. Adjacent to parking building, there is permanent exhibition abour Grossglockner history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the beginning of the season, it was officially open, but in reality everything except the restaurant and toilets was closed, even the passage in the tunnel. Which is ok, but would be nice to be able to know that from the website or at least at the road toll gate.

The trail is amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful place to visit. Make sure to be here in time as this place gets really crowded. Especially on a sunny day. The 2h Gamsgruben hike to the glacier through the tunnel is definitely worth it and easy to do. Right about the first parking lot you will find lots of Groundhogs who will even sit on your lap as they are used to being fed by humans. Bring Carrots or Apples and you can actually pet them. Several good hikes around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breathtaking. I now know what the entry free for cars is 37€. But the entire platform is well built and lots of space to run around. I highly recommend the museums as well, seeing some old cars and history of Grossglockner and it's glacier. Very beautiful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once you reach Edelweissspitze and continue you'll reach this amazing place. There's a huge free-parking building, stop all the way at the top (depending if possible SNOW) and enjoy the breathtaking view :) And if you're hungry there's a nice restaurant with good food, amazingly looking dezerts and a view of the mountains right behind you :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a very beautiful view to the mountains. I was there at summer and we had 9,5°C. So you have to dress yourself warmly
You have to pay 37€ toll to go there. There are many park spaces for free.
You can go to the restaurant. But the food is only canteen-like. If you want to eat good food, you have to drive down to a good restaurant
