★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine schön gemachte Erinnerungsstätte an Joseph Mohr, den Dichter des Liedes. Sowohl der Stille Nacht Brunnen wie auch die Kirche in Mariapfarr sind inspirierende Stätten. Das dazugehörige Museum hat leider nur in wenigen Zeitfenstern geöffnet.
A beautifully made memorial to Joseph Mohr, the poet of the song. Both the Silent Night Fountain and the church in Mariapfarr are inspirational sites. The museum has unfortunately only opened in a few windows.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Something to remember Mariapfarr for. This year (2019) it is 203 years since the text of Stille Nacht was written and 200 years since the first public performance of the song. If you stay around overnight, you will understand Joseph Mohr's inspiration.
