My favorite mountain in Bad Ischl - small but beautiful. And you get as a reward a fantastic view of Bad Ischl, the river Ischl and the Wolfgangsee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein schöner Ausflug mit Parkmöglichkeit, ca. 40 min bis zum Aussichtspunkt. Der Weg ist zwar kurz aber doch relativ knackig. Man hat eine Aussicht über ganz Ischl bis zum bürgelstein jedoch eine Hütte oder dergleichen gibt es nicht, also selbst a kässemml Oda ein bier mitbringen ?
A nice trip with parking, about 40 minutes to the viewpoint. The route is short but relatively crisp. You have a view over the whole of Ischl up to the Bürgelstein, but there is no hut or the like, so bring a beer with you k

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Aufstieg ist gut zu schaffen, aber hier und da durch höhere Stufen oder mangelnden Halt durchaus Konzentration nötig. Ich emofehle gutes Schuhwerk. Der Blick über zwei Täler und bis zum Dachstein entschädigt für die kurze Mühsal.
The ascent is easy to manage, but concentration is necessary here and there due to higher steps or a lack of support. I recommend good footwear. The view over two valleys and up to the Dachstein compensates for the short hardship.

Kurzer Aufstieg, im Sommer wie im Winter atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Stadt, bis zum Dachstein.
Die Aussicht ist im Winter fast noch besser.
Unbedingt genießen!
Great view mountain next to Bad Ischl.
Short ascent, in summer as in winter breathtaking views of the city, up to the Dachstein.
The view is almost even better in winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wunderbarer kleiner Aussichtsberg inmitten von Bad Ischl. Von allen Seiten leicht zu erklimmen. Teilweise steilere Felsstufen, aber für jeden gut begehbar.
Die Aussicht ist dafür sehr schön und einzigartig. Herrlicher Blick in das Wolfgangtal.
Wonderful little mountain in the middle of Bad Ischl. Easy to climb from all sides. Partly steeper rock steps, but well walkable for everyone.
The view is very beautiful and unique. Magnificent view of the Wolfgang Valley.

A wonderful view of the Dachstein and the Ischl, but you need (as a flatlander ?) stamina to get up. Nice circular route back to Bad Ischl
