This really is a ferrata with tons of fun - starting with the approach and ending with a really nice scramble back. You can reach the starting point either by hiking from the valley (not a brilliant hike) or take a gondola up the glacier (which I would recommend). If you decided on the second option, you will be crossing a glacier from the gondola station to the north wall of the mountain. There, you will take a ladder to climb some 20 meters to an opening of a tunnel that takes you in the other side of the mountain. You will then hike across a smaller glacier - crampons a must as it is rather quite steep. After that, you can finally start climbing via ferrata. I like it a lot, great views and a few challenging spots. Done it twice and had fun each time. The way back to the gondola station is across a ridge of the mountain, which is a ferrata in itself but feels more like a protected scramble and one of more interesting ways back from any via ferrata I have done. There is even quite a long wire bridge to be crossed. One of my favourite via ferrata as a whole experience from the start to the very end.
