Unfortunately, the innkeeper gave us the feeling that we weren't happy about our visit and it should not have pleased him that we only ordered drinks.
P	Peter B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir haben hier Ende September jeweils zu Beginn und Ende unserer viertägigen Dachsteinrunde (im Uhrzeigersinn) im Doppelzimmer übernachtet. Am ersten Tag war nicht viel los und der Hüttenwirt hat sich sehr viel Zeit für uns genommen. Er hat uns viele Tipps zur Runde gegeben und auch etwas über die anderen Hütten erzählt, damit wir uns besser drauf einstellen konnten. Die Austriahütte wird vom Wirt in Eigenregie mit dem Auto versorgt, und deswegen fehlt es an nichts. Er hat lecker gekocht. Die Hütte hat eine Pelletheizung und man kann für zwei Euro heiß duschen. We stayed here at the end of September at the beginning and end of our four-day Dachstein tour (clockwise) in a double room. On the first day there wasn't much going on and the hut owner took a lot of time for us. He gave us a lot of tips about the round and also told us something about the other huts so that we could better adjust to it. The Austriahütte is supplied by the landlord with his own car, so nothing is missing. He cooked delicious. The hut has pellet heating and you can take a hot shower for two euros.
a	alfred klaeser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Christoph der Pächter der Austria Hütte war unglaublich nett hat uns alle Wünsche erfüllt. Ich muss sagen es war ne echt gute Hütte. Wir hatten Halbpension. Das Essen war auch echt Mega und bei jedem kleinen Problem hatte Christoph eine Lösung für uns. Christoph, the tenant of Austria Hütte, was incredibly nice and fulfilled all of our wishes. I have to say it was a really good hut. We had half board. The food was also really mega and Christoph had a solution for us for every little problem.

G	Grimpix Hominidae on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best hutte in Dachstein (so far), best hospitality in Austria, best chokocake, best fruhstuck :) Good position to stay after Ramsauer-klettersteig, and good starting position to Hohe Dachstein using the cablecar. After a negative experience at Studlhutte (in Glocknergroup), you gave me back the faith in austrian huttes and hospitality, Viele danke. Attila
D	D. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the hut, the service, the view. Good guys doing a good job all around. I called ahead with special requests because of food intolerances and they tried accommodating me as best they could. Perfect spot for lots of hikes, from easy to not-that-easy ;)
