★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Starting my review I would like to mention that I contact dr. Stavrou as a referral through a relative of mine. I'm mentioning this due to the fact that I will always believe that referrals through people you know and trust are always in higher importance than looking for just a review on an internet platform or a website.
None the less, through his approach, to my issue and showing that he cares about me as a patient, convinced me to leave this review here for him.
First I liked that he was thorough to his research about my issue and also that he studied my exams before our talk. Adding to that, the fact that he has been doing a research on the specific subject, cavernoma, and knowing details about it that others seemed not to be that thorough, it increased my trust on his medical-surgical opinion about it.
Beyond the above, I liked also that even though that we have a physical distance that makes my choice difficult on choosing him as my surgeon, he stayed committed and kept showing interest to my case.
If I was living in Vienna, I would definitely chosen him as my surgeon.
