Impuls Hotel Tirol

Very good. Some will prefer how they do it; but I prefer skiing hotels that offer a complete buffet service for the evening meal. Sit down with a choice of 3 mains (wife a veggie, neither of us like fish) isn't as good. But that's my opinion and probably not a slight on the hotel.

This is an exceptional hotel; fantastic food, first class service, great rooms and the most wonderful spa with 3 swimming pools (one outdoors - swimming in the snow in the thermal spring heated pool is perfect after a hard day on the slopes!) Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff and any requests we made were dealt with immediately. We stayed over New Year and the effort they put into the gala "masked" dinner party was impressive - 7 course meal, cocktails, live music, fireworks at midnight and everything of the highest standard. In over 30 years of staying at ski hotels this was easily one of the very best. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff (special mention for Edi, the barman) - you definitely helped make our holiday in Bad Hofgastein very special.

Fantastic hotel. Rooms are large, modern and clean. Staff are friendly and happy to help. Food is excellent and the spa facilities are wonderful. The whole place is spotlessly clean. We travelled with a two-year-old and my father and we were all made to feel very welcome. The ski area is huge and well suited to intermediates. Can’t wait to return.

Impuls Tirol Hotel is my favourite place to stay for more than the last 10 years. Warm hospitality, attention to details /requests, quick response and actions, friendly environment, great set of wellness facilities, suitable rooms ... nothing to add, relax and enjoy the place. It is a highly recommended hotel to stay.

A sublime hotel, right in the heart of Bad Hofgastein. It has an indoor and on outdoor pool, the spa facilities are great and everything is perfectly clean and neat. The staff is more than friendly and the diversity offered especially at dinner is fantastic.

This is the best hotel we’ve stayed in on a skiing holiday! A bold statement but Hotel Impuls delivers such a fantastic guest experience on so many levels its actually difficult to do it justice in a review as I’m worried about missing something out... We stayed as part of a large group and from the minute we arrived until we left, felt welcomed and exceptionally well looked after. Service is all in this hotel and every member of staff that we encountered from management to service were smiling, friendly and helpful. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, whether it was accommodating our request for the whole group to be together in one dining room – as there were several separate bookings they hadn’t picked up that we were part of a larger group (21 in total) – or providing meals for those who have specific dietary requirements. The food was delicious, varied and plentiful, always beautifully cooked and served with a smile – credit is due to the chef and kitchen team. The hotel mixes traditional charm with modern styling, the public areas are beautifully presented with plenty of space for relaxing and getting together with friends and family. Our room was spacious, well-appointed and spotless as were all the rooms our group occupied although each was slightly different in layout and furnishing. We even had a fridge and a kettle. The wellness suite and swimming pools were used by all of us, again clean and well-appointed – after a hard day on the slope a relaxing swim and sauna was the perfect antidote and we really appreciated the complimentary bath robes, towels and even a bag to carry things down in. There’s plenty of ski and boot storage in the ski keller with the ski bus stop just a 3 minute walk away and buses ran regularly to the Schlossalm lift in the village. The general consensus from all of our group is that this is an exceptional hotel and we all want to return next year.
