You can find some better places to stay around: the electricity does not reach every slot of the camping place, making it not very practical

Staff not very friendly, not rude I mean, but the hospitality was not there. As Tom already wrote, Wifi prices are madness. Where other campsites have free, or cheap wifi, I refuse to pay this amount of money for a internet connection. Tip: go to Hofer in Feldkirchen and buy a 1,5 GB YESSS simcard for €15. Put it in an old android device and use it's thetering function.

Great camping , it has its own beach to the lake, quite calm and nice views , perfect for families or to relax. Close to some hiking/ski resort areas, just 15 km drive. There are a couple of towns with shops supermarkets and stuff

Much places (shop, restaurant) closed, toilet needs a update. But nice big places.

The camp site is beautifully situated, with great access to the lake and access to cycle and walk/hike paths. We rented a chalet, which was clean and comfortable. A few 'Howevers': First, we picked the camping as it had many references 'also great with older kids' (mine are teenagers). Now it could have been 'bad timing', but close to only toddlers and small kids there. Also at the pingpong tables, with no light (!) nothing happens in the evening. With older kids, I'd think again visiting... Then the staff, restaurant, Vans Soleil and shop staff were very kind. Reception: the contrary. They literally ask you, arriving after a 13 hours journey, to go to the ATM to then pay tourist tax in cash, and it needed to be done immediately, as reception closed in 45 mins. Asking if it could wait till tomorrow, it couldn't. Bizar as they have all your details. Thereafter you get two pages with rules. Explaining litteraly all you CAN'T do and at the end wishing you a great holiday. Fully appreciate rules, but there are so many more friendly ways to explain. Like: add 1-2 great dog walks on the paper with all the dog rules... As we departed a few days before our time was due, we asked if tourist tax could possibly be reimbursed. A simple 'No, this is all in the books' was the reply. Again, appreciate fully, but the tone could be so much more friendly (I would even ask why we leave early, but eh...). And yes, we may be spoiled after many years camping in France and Spain, but the atmosphere was also less relaxed. Could be me, but I say 'Hello' when I walk over the campsite to fellow campers. Mildly said, 80% here does not. Again, site is great, lake access is even greater and all was nice and clean, but given a) our older kids and b) the 'friendlyness', we will not likely return.
