Wie auf seiner website beschrieben Kopfumfang messen, Modell aussuchen, Email an die Hutmanufaktur Frech schreiben, auf Antwort warten und nach Aufforderung Vorkasse überweisen. Alles gut geklappt und das Beste ist der Hut den ich mir für die Jagd gekauft habe. Er erfüllt qualitativ wie optisch voll meine Erwartung. Gerne würde ich mal bei Herrn Frech in Wien vorbeischauen. Das Traditionshaus hat mich für weitere Käufe neugierig gemacht. Weiter so !! Didn't think that it would work online with Hutmacher Frech. Der Hut sitzt perfekt und wurde genau nach meinen Wünschen angefertigt und angepasst. Alles konnte per E-Mail geklärt werden, was zu Zeiten dieser Pandemie natürlich ein riesiges Plus ist. Mein nächster Hut wird definitiv wieder hier bestellt. I recently ordered a hat from the Frech hat manufacturer and am impressed by the quality of the hat and the very friendly customer service. The hat fits perfectly and was made and adjusted exactly according to my wishes. Everything was cleared up by email, which is of course a huge plus in times of this pandemic. My next hat will definitely be ordered here again.

It is not a big factory but a small workshop, however, you can have an excellent experience. Moreover, the owner, Mr Frech is very friendly and helpful. He presented his masterpieces and you have multiple choices. He also gave constructive advice to help you make your decision. After two weeks, the brillant hand-made hat is ready and you will be super proud of yourself that you made a right choice!

Beforehand, Lothar Frech had giving me extensive advice by email and we had discussed all relevant and intricate details. He has proven to be a very customer-friendly and flexible professional craftsman. The whole process of measuring up, deciding on the height of the indented crown and width of the brim, the trimmed edge, choosing the most appropriate colour for the rabbit felt, the ribbon band and the lining – fitted in with my planned 3-week holiday in Austria, Slovakia and Czechia. Being the fourth generation in a family of Viennese hatmakers, Lothar Frech has a wealth of experience, knowledge and know how of creatign all kinds of bespoke hats. Fedora’s today are the type of hat that is associated with dapper gentlemen who like to dress well. For me, Lothar Frech has created a unique Fedora that fits perfectly and looks very smart in combination with my bespoke Ulster-Paletot wintercoat. Highly recommended!
