N	Natalie Gartner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir konnten uns von der ersten Minute an total entspannen. Das gesamte Personal bis hin zum Chef sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist ein Traum!!! Alles super sauber und schön eingerichtet. Wir buchen ein Hotel sonst niemals zweimal, weil wir so viel wie möglich sehen wollen ABER wir kommen bestimmt wieder in die Waldruhe. Klare Weiterempfehlung. Danke für alles :) We were able to relax completely from the first minute. The entire staff up to the boss was very friendly and helpful. The food is a dream !!! Everything was super clean and nicely decorated. We never book a hotel twice because we want to see as much as possible BUT we will definitely come back to the Waldruhe. Clear recommendation. Thank you for everything :)
M	Mandy Krebs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wo kann ich anfangen mit dem Loblied? Ich bin angekommen und habe mich gleich wohl gefühlt. Ein Hotel mit sehr sehr viel Liebe geführt und eingerichtet. Das zeigt sich an der Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit der Gastgeber und des gesamten Personals, die schicke und trotzdem gemütliche Einrichtung der Zimmer, die wunderbare Verbindung zwischen modernem Hotel und der Familientradition, die mit vielen Fotos und Details hochgehalten wird. Man schmeckt die Liebe auch :) Die Küche ist ehrlich regional und trotzdem äußerst kreativ, leicht und vor allem sehr lecker. Das schließt auch die vegetarischen Gerichte ein. Viel Bedacht wird auch der Umweltfreundlichkeit gewidmet, vor allem was die Müllvermeidung angeht. Das ganze Konzept des Hotels wird so gelebt wie es geschrieben steht und das finde ich toll! Last but not least ist der Wellnessbereich auch sehr schön und größer als ich gedacht habe aufgrund der Website. Und Kartitsch selbst… einfach schön das Dorf. Bodenständig, idyllisch, herrlich ruhig mit wunderbarer Aussicht und ein guter Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern. Alle Wünsche erfüllt für den Erholungssuchenden. :)) Danke für die schöne Zeit! Where do I start with the song of praise? I arrived and felt right at home. A hotel run and furnished with a lot of love. This is reflected in the warmth and attentiveness of the hosts and the entire staff, the chic yet cozy furnishings of the rooms, the wonderful combination of modern hotel and family tradition, which is upheld with many photos and details. You can taste love too :) The cuisine is honestly regional and yet extremely creative, light and above all very tasty. This also includes the vegetarian dishes. A lot of attention is also paid to environmental friendliness, especially when it comes to avoiding waste. The whole concept of the hotel is lived as it is written and I think that's great! Last but not least, the spa is also very nice and bigger than I thought based on the website. And Kartitsch himself... the village is simply beautiful. Down-to-earth, idyllic, wonderfully quiet with a wonderful view and a good starting point for hiking. All wishes fulfilled for those seeking relaxation. :)) Thanks for the nice time!

So viele freundliche und bekannte Gesichter, super Wohlfühlzimmer, die schöne lässige Lounge, ausgezeichnetes Essen mit regionalen Zutaten - einfach alles perfekt in diesem Haus mit Geschichte und Stil. Wir freuen uns schon sehr auf den nächsten Aufenthalt! We, family with 1 child - 7 years, have been here again and enjoyed our stay to the full. So many friendly and familiar faces, super comfortable rooms, the beautiful, casual lounge, excellent food with regional ingredients - everything is just perfect in this hotel with history and style. We are really looking forward to our next stay!
T	Tain Pain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es ist ein wunderbares, familiäres Miteinander. Man kommt an und fühlt sich sofort wohl. In keinem anderen Hotel saß ich so gerne in der Lounge wie hier. Alt und neu ist so Stilvoll miteinander verbunden. Das Personal ist stets freundlich und hat auch 5 Minuten Zeit für einen kurzen Plausch. Wenn man am Abend, durch Krankheit, nicht sein Menü essen mag, wurde schnell eine Suppe serviert. Beim Essen wird Wert auf regionale Zutaten gelegt. Die Gerichte für sich kann man nicht beschreiben, die muss man erlebt haben. Unser Zimmer war groß und bot uns viel Platz um uns zuentfalten. Um ein Haar in der Suppe zu finden, mein Mann empfand das Zimmer als hellhörig. Wer ein Fledermausgehör und einen leichten Schlaf hat, sollte sich Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen. Für mich war das aber kein Thema und ist mir so nicht aufgefallen. Dies war unser zweiter Aufenthalt und wir freuen uns schon auf viele weitere. Voll lässig hier... It's a wonderful, family-like atmosphere. You arrive and immediately feel at home. In no other hotel do I enjoy sitting in the lounge as much as here. Old and new are so stylishly combined. The staff is always friendly and has 5 minutes for a short chat. If you don't want to eat your menu in the evening because of illness, a soup was quickly served. When it comes to eating, emphasis is placed on regional ingredients. The dishes in themselves cannot be described, they have to be experienced. Our room was large and gave us a lot of space to unfold. To find a fly in the ointment, my husband found the room noisy. Anyone who has a bat ear and a light sleeper should take earplugs with them. But it wasn't an issue for me and so I didn't notice it. This was our second stay and we look forward to many more. Completely casual here ...

But it just keeps getting better, because Franz (the owner) keeps investing into it. The most recent changes completed in mid 2018 are just great with the new bar, the restructured garden area outside etc. But then the best thing is anyway the great customer service of all staff (you just feel / see they enjoy working here) and the yummy cooking of the chef himself. I just love this place... and the mountain scenery around it.
