M	Marlene Appel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel hat eine Top Lage in Obertauern, genau dessen dürften sich die Gastgeber sehr bewusst sein und nutzen das auf Kosten der Gäste aus. Man wird nicht nur sehr unfreundlich empfangen, man muss sich auch gleich auf Anhieb überall selber zurecht finden und wartet auf freundliche Erklärungen vergebens. Zimmer sind total in Ordnung. Frühstück reich nicht über ein Standard Frühstück hinaus, das an sich wäre kein Problem - ich hätte mir als Gast aber FRISCHES Brot erwartet. Bei einem Zimmerpreis von €200!!!!!! Bei der Abrechnung war man nicht nur absolut unflexibel sondern auch leider wieder sehr unfreundlich. Auf ein nettes "Auf Wiedersehen" wartet man vergeblich. Für uns gibt es in diesem Hotel definitv kein Wiedersehen. Hotel has a top location in Obertauern, exactly what the hosts are likely to be very aware of and take advantage of this at the expense of the guests. You will not only receive very rude, you have to find your way around the same everywhere and waits for friendly explanations in vain. Rooms are totally ok. Breakfast was not enough beyond a standard breakfast, which in itself would not be a problem - I would have expected as a guest but FRESH bread. With a room rate of € 200 !!!!!! The billing was not only completely inflexible but unfortunately again very rude. For a nice "goodbye" one waits in vain. Definitely no reunion for us in this hotel.

Wenn eine vegetarische Hauptspeise (Kaspressknödel mit Saltvariation) immerhin ca. 13 € kostet und diese aus einem faden Knödel und fertigem Bohnen- Kartoffelsalat aus der 10 kg Packung besteht (falls das selbstgemacht ist sollte man sich erst recht fragen was da kulinarisch los ist), dann ist das ein Armutszeugnis. Nur weil man zentral in einem Touri-Hotspot liegt sollte man sich doch nicht alles erlauben können. Wsl. mein schlechtester Restaurantbesuch und meine erste Google-Rezension. Related to the restaurant: the kitchen is unfortunately catastrophic. If a vegetarian main course (cheese dumplings with salt variation) costs around €13 and consists of a bland dumpling and ready-made bean and potato salad from the 10 kg pack (if it’s homemade you should really ask yourself what’s going on in culinary terms), then that's a sign of poverty. Just because you are centrally located in a tourist hotspot, you should not be able to afford everything. Wsl. my worst restaurant visit and my first google review.

W	Waterlemon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely hotel! The staff is very nice. We booked a room at the Tauernpasshöhe hotel first (same owner), which was a lot cheaper. We had to complain about noise (because of thin walls) which was handeled very good and promptly. Nevertheless we asked if it was possible to pay more and upgrade to the wagner hotel because i’m not a very deep sleeper. The lady at the desk was very helpfull and luckily it was possible to upgrade. The rooms are clean, warm, the beds are good and the breakfast is nice. Its possible to reach the hotel on ski’s from piste 14a, which you can reach by taking the Zehnerkarbahn, Achenrainbahn or Gamsleitenbahn 1 lift. From the hotel the Pernerlift is basically across the street and the Gamsleitenbahn 1 lift is about a 2 minute walk. I would definitely recommend Hotel Wagner and Hotel Tauernpasshöhe aswell if you’re able to sleep trough noise. Thanks a lot for the great time!
