★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were DECEIVED by a receptionist!!! Charged us in cash and on our credit card and they didn't give us a valid bill for the cash payment so Booking won't give a refund. We tried to contact them but they do not answer and they cancel our reservation 2 days after our stay! Its a criminal hotel - DON'T STAY THERE! Avoid in a wide radius!! We had to contact the local police!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was no shades on the roof window, nor a cloth to wash yourself with. Reception was gone after 7 pm and no telephone or alarm to wake you. The pillows were totally flat or so stuffed with foam that you could not sleep. The toilette was separate from the sink. Address states Unteraunern when in fact this is in Obertauern 10 km further!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spectacular hotel. We made a mistake with our booking date, and realised only an hour or so before arrival. The staff handled it seamlessly, and made all the arrangements. They organised a late check in for us, our room was clean, spacious and had beautiful mountain views, and breakfast was varied and delicious. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely wonderful hotel perfectly located in the center of Obertauern, we had an amazing week staying at Hotel Tauernglockl! Coming over from the UK it was a great escape and we couldn't have asked for a better hotel, welcoming staff that spoke perfect English. The buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious and had a lot of variety. Every morning we walked 2 minutes to the slopes and could ski back even closer. They picked us up promptly from the Salzburg airport, facilitated COVID tests for free, and provided an exceptional stay. We will definitely come back to ski in Obertauern and stay again at Hotel Tauernglockl.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brilliant hotel, the apartment was spacious and had everything needed, including full kitchen equipment. The breakfast was delicious and very varied with plenty of choice, the home made brownies were fantastic and a greay extra touch! Staff in the hotel were lovely and went above and beyond to meet our needs! Thanks again to Vicki and the team we can't wait to see you all again soon!
