Located at the central, it gives access to many tourism objects, local restaurants and the schaftbergbahn (the latest however, was under maintaining during our trip period). The hotel has direct access to the lake, while many other hotels only provide lake view instead. The hotel's interior is a good mixture of classic and modern styles. Our room (the champagne suite) worths that all extra cents. This room offers an amazing lake view from the balcony next to the bedroom and also view to the city from the sideway terrace. The bed is huge and really comfortable. There are separate areas for the bath tub (fits for two adults) and the shower cubicle. These are open areas separate from the living room with only thin curtains for romantic ambience. There was also more than enough room to store the wardrobes at the alley, which connects the living room and the bedroom. I would highly recommend this champagne suite for honeymooners. Not suitable for family with children due to the open shower&bath areas. However there are some flaws too. Please be aware that there is no air conditioning at the room, and if you open the glass door/window to the balcony for fresh air, then you will hear all noises from the restaurant area and from the room nextdoor.
C	Christian Maike on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The balcony view upon the lake is amazing, the breakfast got us started off each day in the best way, and the staff were always incredibly friendly and helpful. Short review but the point being this is a great hotel.

I had the best food in my whole life for dinner here, the pool, the spa and the view is fenomenal and the people working here are extremely helpful and nice. The rooms are a bit outdated, it feels like they did not have enough money to renovate those as well but honestly, the rest of the experience is so great that you won't even remember the room. :)

Wonderful selection of food and beverages. Staff was very friendly, free parking and a high end restaurant. And, across the street is another good place to eat. This is a great place to stay. Much quieter and less congested than Hallstatt.

The service is super professional, very friendly, the food is outstanding, I maybe had the best lamb of my life here. The interior is a perfect mix of the tradition of the old building and region and modern cool hotel design. The rooms are generous and luxurious, the view is priceless and last but not least: Maya is the cherry on the cake. Simply our favourite hotel in Austria and we will come back. Often.
