★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a very pleasant stay in the hotel. The hotel lies in a very beautiful and calm little town in close proximity to various lakes, mountains, and bigger cities like Villach.
The Stadler-family manages to give you a very homely feeling. They also gave us great recommendations for various activities that can be done in the region, such as a leisurely hike to a very nice viewpoint, the so-called "Granattor". You can easily see that the owners are very connected with their region and that they are very fond of it. You can actually learn a lot about Carinthia by talking with the very friendly owners.
When it comes to the cuisine offered in their restaurant there is only one thing to be said: Excellent!
Everything is freshly prepared with products from the region. We really enjoyed discovering the typical "Kärnter" cuisine.
Would absolutely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never before tried so tasty local meals in Austria. Excelent, hearty, home-like food that speaks like local traditions and spirit of the mountain. 4 different courses and all four gorgeous! I especially recommend 4 sorten Nudel Teller!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurant staff is friendly and attentive. Serving tap water is not an issue, but best of all is the food (rheerucken is very good). After two courses, we were full and it was offered to serve cake as take-away (was included with the 3-course menu). I highly recommend this restaurant as one of the best places in the area.
