M	Morishita Akiko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the internet this hotel looked and sounded great The view from the rooms was magnificent, unfortunately we were given a lower ground floor so it was restricted The sleeping area was clean and roomy plenty of clothes space bed was good and comfortable but the toilet and shower was clostophobic no good if you were tall or large built The wash basin was modern but not practical for actual use The breakfast room was very well laid out and had the view of the mountains to take in while eating The buffet side of the breakfast was very good but getting something hot like eggs bacon etc was hit and miss It was a good walk to centre of the city so you need to be fit otherwise a taxi is necessary
S	Sherman Pencescu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful setting, with nice mountain views and a beautiful garden. The only downside is that it's not that close to the city, you need 15 minutes to walk to the restaurant areas. I would go back there any time though...
G	Georges Haddad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They stay was beautiful. Everything was so nice and the hospitality was great. Unfortunately there was a misconception with the bill of the rooms. We took a triple room and as soon as we arrived we were told that there was a problem with the reservation so they said that they would give us one single room and one double. Which was there mistake and so we were supposed to pay the same amount of money. While we checked out, we were told that we were supposed to pay 85$ extra because she could have changed for a triple room the next day but we gave notice and we said the first night we were okay with 2 rooms. That was unprofessional and inappropriate

Up slight hill but exceptional views of the mountains which were covered in snow whilst we were there. Breakfast great, room cosy and so quiet. Bathroom small and may prove too open for private use for some but very modern addition to the room with several additional amenities including hair dryer, body lotions, tooth brush, slippers and free wifi. View from balcony is breath taking. Owner was efficient and very helpful. We could not fault our stay and wish we could of stayed longer. Thankyou. Kelly and steve

We found the family feel resonated at every point, from the warm welcome, open garden and seating areas, and excellent breakfast. The location is approx. 20 - 30 minute walk from the old town and major tourist sites of Salzburg but we liked this as the walk was quiet and meandering through cobbled streets lined with traditional houses, very picturesque. Of the four hotels we stayed in during our time in Austria this was by far the best, breakfast is exceptional, beds comfortable and amenities well stocked (the shower was amazing!)
A	Ahmed G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and quit place. You barely hear something after 5 pm. Owner were helpful and nice. Clean and kept well. Shower and toilets area quit small. Absolutely beautiful scenery from the big balcony. Needs a car to climb the steeply road.

We wanted to be a little bit out of town so we could park our rental car and not worry about it the rest of the trip. We happened upon Haus Arenberg, and it was so much more than we expected. The rooms are clean and quite spacious, especially for Europe. Breakfast was well stocked with a wide variety of foods. The location was an easy 20 minute walk into town, with a few different routes available to mix it up each time. Best of all, the employees are so friendly and will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Fresh air, balcony with a mountain view , garden, zero noise, free parking - all that you will not get in Altstadt :) Perfect base for the Festival, or to explore nearby mountains and lakes. Festival is still in the walkable distance, 25 min max (I have not used a taxi during my 5 days festival visit). The owner family is very friendly and helpful. Recommended.
