★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I stayed at Hotel Kronenhirsch over the past weekend and everything was simply perfect.
The staff is attentive, helpful and available if there are any questions at all. The breakfast buffet was fresh and healthy, and all of the items were delicious. The bread was so fresh it was still warm when we cut it. The only thing I was missing was an alternative to cow milk (but that is just a personal preference and it would have probably been available had I told the hotel ahead of time).
In a nutshell: Everything in this hotel is brand new and also stylish. We loved staying here and having Hotel Kronenhirsch as our base. It’s perfect for hiking on the Dachstein, visiting beautiful towns in the area (Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Hallstatt, and many more). Thank you for taking such good care of us — We’ll be back for sure! @thevoyagette

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place in the heart of fantastic nature. The hotel is modern, clean and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We have been there during summer and the surrounding nature is pure heaven. I strongly recommend to pay a visit! Love this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best hotels we stayed so far, if not the best. What makes it special? Great location, comfortable rooms and awesome staff. Only 30 min to Hallstatt. Don't hesitate to expierence one of your best trips in Austria. Definitely gonna come back again. Cheers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Liked: The location is great. It is right next to a river and from the common balcony you can see mountains and most of the town. The breakfast was really good. It was simple with ample choice of bread and jams. Croissant was fabulous.
The owner/manager were really nice and made sure we were comfortable and had everything needed. They also suggested locations to visit when the weather was not co-operative.
The parking is onsite and free.
The hotel has a concept of honesty bar. Basically there is self service bar and you list down items you consume and put in a box. It is a really nice concept.
Disliked · Pillows - they were really really soft and wouldn't stay fluffed. Granted, I didn't ask for hard pillow so I don't know if they have one.
Room are a bit small but not bad. It has ample space for storage. The duvet are bit short for a 6 feet guy.
